Photo Album of my brother's visit to Czech Republic

My brother is in UK deputed by his company on a project for few months. During November 2012, he decided to take some time off from his grueling working hours and visit us in Czech Republic(at last!).
He had applied for a tourist visa for Czech Republic (Schengen area) and had received within a week.
We received him at Brno airport and I was extremely happy.

The next day was Saturday and we took him to Brno city center and to the Christmas market. That day it was snowing and I was really happy that my brother could feel the snow. We had some honey wine and some typical Czech sweet called trdelnik and some bramborak without bacon in them. He loved it.

Two days after this, we visited Prague. My brother was very interested to visit Prague in particular as he had heard from his UK colleagues that it was a very beautiful city. I knew he would not be disappointed at all! :-)
When we were walking across the streets in Prague, I could see that my brother was mesmerized with its beauty. He could see beautiful buildings, with great architectural details, rivers, cafes and squares and on top of all of these, it was snowing nonstop.
We also visited Alphonse Mucha's museum and my brother bought few souvenirs to carry it home.

Old town hall, the Charles Bridge and Prague castle (castle courtyard and old castle stairs) were among his favorites. Fortunately for us, both the days were sunny (very cold but sunny- good conditions for photography). During the two days in Prague, we were just walking and walking and my legs had started to pain by the time we sat in the train to return to Brno :-(

  2. With pictures like this, count me also as a person who would visit you often. The last 2 pictures are fantastic. I can feel the chill in the air, and also as you have said it looks sunny, perfect for taking good pictures. My wish is also to visit Prague someday. Can you please remove the word verification, for it is really annoying?
