Ahh. such nice feeling to see these storms after hot summer day.. thought of sharing..
Just came from work and started having evening tea, then I realised, the horizon turning darker. Went to have a look and you guessed, storm.

Just felt like capturing this beautiful nature.

This is written for the "Sleepy Sunday Contest – II" by Weblog in which we are asked to write based on the picture below: Woman until very recently was made to think she was meant to be within the four walls. Even history quoted that her individuality was restrained within four walls in general and inside the kitchen in particular. She until very recently was considered a Man’s property and this is true for many even now. This dependence might be due to several reasons and I would like to highlight two of the most obvious: 1) Woman wanted herself to be under Man’s rule because it was her family Tradition OR 2) She was forced to be Man’s property by the Society, since it was called “Culture” >built< by the society. Birthday cravings

“What do you want for your birthday?” he asked “A smartphone” I replied to him. Kiran rolled his eyes again as we had had this discussion for about four or five times during this year. Each time we had had this discussion, Kiran had opened my eyes to the ‘fact’ that a smartphone was a waste of time and money. In fact several times during our debates, he had pronounced that smartphone was a waste not just for myself, but for both of us. This had brought tears to my eyes with thoughts of ‘togetherness’. So he asked this question this week as my birthday was just a few days away. When he got the same answer from me, he said "All right, how about this? Check the smartphones your friends have, try them and then tell me if you still wish to buy one?" So, I told my saga to my friend and she said she wanted to take a look at my mobile first. Education and Schooling-- Where is it heading to??

In India, ask any student what career they want to choose? An expected answer is an Engineer or a Doctor or a Lawyer or to study Management or recent trend which is Commerce (F & A). If majority of the students wants to study only one among these, then who is going to study life sciences, literature, arts, translation, Social sciences or Teaching(as teachers) or sports? The answer is-- those who have got lower marks in their secondary schools (I am not degrading such students because there are several reasons for them to score lower marks and scoring lower marks need not necessarily mean that a student is not worthy of anything at all, it is just our education system which makes sure that a student who has no good marks to a financially struggling parents will be doomed!!)
