My brother is in UK deputed by his company on a project for few months. During November 2012, he decided to take some time off from his grueling working hours and visit us in Czech Republic(at last!).  He had applied for a tourist visa for Czech Republic (Schengen area) and had received within a week. We received him at Brno airport and I was extremely happy. The next day was Saturday and we took him to Brno city center and to the Christmas market. That day it was snowing and I was really happy that my brother could feel the snow. We had some honey wine and some typical Czech sweet called trdelnik  and some bramborak  without bacon in them. On 31st of October, our Human Resource team had sent a mail telling they will be arranging for a ‘Trip to Budapest’ and the trip was scheduled on 8th of December this year. I became very excited to read this piece of news. This is because only very recently I have started my new job and my instant thought was ‘I will get to know more of them!!’. I started to get lots of thoughts and questions as to who will be joining the trip from my team and from those extended teams with which we are working with. I had asked this question to few of my immediate colleagues and some of them had other plans and few others were unsure. Also, I wanted to know if this trip was a guided tour meant only for the employees and their families/friends or if the company is only arranging for the transport which will drop us at a point and then fetch us in the evening for the return trip to Brno. Kiran had visited me in Holland on 26 th of January and had stayed till 29 th of January and we had planned to visit Rotterdam during his visit and a stroll and walk through Dordrecht bridge and streets. 27 th of January: On this day I had to go to work since it was a working day and I did not want to apply leave since I had transition work to be completed and it was the start of “month end closure”. So I left the day at around 15.00 pm and had planned it out with Kiran to meet near to the place where we stay and had ordered taxi to take us to the Dordrecht Bridge. I was excited since the day unlike previous days was very sunny and I thought it was a good day for a stroll and photography and I was not disappointed. We walked for around 2 hours.
