Steven Speilberg's bollywood cut

Disclaimer:   If you lack a sense of what is funny, this is not for you! This is meant just for fun and not to hurt anybody's feelings. ...Bollywood is celebrating a party with Steven Spielberg and Karan Johar approaches Steven to introduce himself. Karan Johar : Hello Sir, I am Karan Johar, son of Yash Johar. I have produced a few films and directed a few others. I am very fortunate that I am speaking to you in person. Steven Spielberg : Hello Karan, I am sure I am glad as well. I love India so much. Karan Johar : I was just wondering if you have watched any of my movies at all. Steven Spielberg :   (Trying desperately to remember if there was any of this guy's in the list of movies Anil Ambani gave him to watch on the private jet here.) Karan Johar : Oh, I'm sure it's silly of me to ask you if you have watched it   (I hope he has?!) Steven Spielberg : Oh yes, indeed I have watched one movie of yours, but I don't think I can pronounce ...

Bollywood movies with "sanskaar"

26-July-2012 Prague,  21:30 pm The heat was unbearable, even in a hotel room which was with an air cooler. My mood was not getting any better. So I decided to watch a movie from Youtube, any movie that is. So I chose "Vivah". Whah! and what movie it is!! A movie with 95% of characters are full of "sanskaar" made out of pure desi ghee from desi gaay [did not want to use the word 'cow' for obvious 'sacred' reasons!!]. Typical bollywood story. (What was I thinking?? and how naive of me to expect anything else??) Parents looks out for alliances for their children (after all, Indian parents are broadminded in some ways!!) . The story of this movie is no different, of course! A very "good looking" and fair girl (being "fair skinned" is a MUST, because good and moral groom families are so broadminded that they only ask for fair skinned girl and absolutely "NO DOWRY") and what more? they also they expect the girls ...

Private thoughts of a "hero"

In an ancestral home in Rampur in the movie "hum saath saath hain", Salman Khan and Monish Bahl are standing against the 2 pillars in front of the main door, both deep in thoughts and Salman Khan starts to weep, Monish Bahl: Why are you crying my dear brother. I will not become the Managing director of our company, Main ne to maa ko vachan diya hai. Mujhe maaf karo. Mein chahta hoon "dil se" ki t u Managing Director banu hamare company ka, kya? mat ro mere bhai iski vaja se. I am all for it. I simply cannot act. main bahut dukhi hoon. I am very sad that I cannot act even though there are millions of supporting fans for me, this is my deepest regret. Mujhe smile karne ke vagera koi acting nahi kar sakta. bas smile kar sakta hoon! iske saath, I lost Aishwarya and thought o...

My Review of a movie!

Phir Hera Pheri: My humble opinion about this movie: 1) Rimi Sen face was rather looking bigger than her body with kilograms of make up. I wonder how a girl who lost everything can apply loads of make up and curl her hair and how in Mumbai's "dhoop" it all remains the same even if she is running or eating, no sweating nothing, amazing!  Even Bipasha Basu, she has no acting skills nor the director  has made any effort to take it out somehow. She is running with her heels on!!  It looks like these days bollywood movies wants women to be present only as an "Item number" is it so?. 1970's hindi movies like "Kashmir ki kali" and "An evening in Paris" also had rather insignificant roles for heroines, But then they were there in the movies as "Dolls" and now  heroines are there as "items".  Pity this is happening in a country which worships Goddesses for strength and power, knowledge and wisdom and money and luck.  (A...
