Dear Lataji, I really loved your voice and songs during 50’s 60’s 70’s and even 80’s for Madhuri. But I could not take it at all when you sang for Kajol, Rani. How did you expect your plus 50’s voice to suit 20’s Kajol and Rani?? And now you are saying that you will not retire?? Can you be so kind and give your clear intensions please?
Are you are planning to sing for Kalki or Genelia, or Deepika? If so please kindly spare me and most of Indians might surely vote for my appeal!

  • India, Germany discusses Pak, sign four agreements-for cooperation in vocational education, medical research, science and technology and nuclear physics. Asked about the use of nuclear energy, Singh said every effort would be made to ensure that all safety norms and generation and utilization of nuclear energy are world class. "Today our nuclear energy is three per cent of our total energy generation. Our capacity is less than 5,000 MW. We want to raise it to 20,000 MW by the year 2020," Singh said.

Ahh, just 2 days ago, German Chancellor Angela Merkal decided to close all their nuclear power stations in Germany by2020 in order to avoid the same fate as Japan’s nuclear disaster and now she is in Delhi to discuss Nuclear Physics?
Oh yes, hurrah! I linked the stories at last. How ingenious of Germany and foolish of India, or is it foolish? Sometimes my own intelligence surprises me. I should have taken Political science as my career. What a shame!

Ok, All these kinds of news in the morning certainly will provide enough manure to my brains to sustain for the rest of my day to think and think and gossip and to discuss with Kiran and argue (if possible, try to give feminist views to some issues and then annoy Kiran just for the sake of it ) ha ha.

    2)Nice to see that you are a voracious reader of history, fiction, non-fiction and classics in both English and Kannada- your native language. I am also a voracious reader both in English & Kannada - my mother tongue . So now my request is : can you kindly list here some books in the said languages you loved most reading ???...only Non-fiction please !!...Thank You ... Take Care !!...

“What do you want for your birthday?” he asked “A smartphone” I replied to him. Kiran rolled his eyes again as we had had this discussion for about four or five times during this year. Each time we had had this discussion, Kiran had opened my eyes to the ‘fact’ that a smartphone was a waste of time and money. In fact several times during our debates, he had pronounced that smartphone was a waste not just for myself, but for both of us. This had brought tears to my eyes with thoughts of ‘togetherness’. Find Part 1 here My newly found uncle became quite close to us and we started to visit each other during festivals and functions and so on. My uncle speaks a lot and and my family was silent lot and used to just smile and nod to whatever he used to say. My aunt is a sweet lady and very soft spoken and also used to pull my uncle's leg sometimes which used to give me quite a laugh! My uncle had also introduced me to one of the famous singer in Mysore Dr. R. N Srilatha with whom I started to learn senior lessons in carnatic music.
